Ambassador Hussain Sinjari met on Tuesday, 12/4/2011, at the Embassy a delegation from the Iraqi Council of Representatives, headed by Dr. Hamoudi, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, House of Representatives, who were heading for the Republic of Panama to participate in the meetings of the Inter-Parliamentary Union for the session (124). The delegation included (d. Salman Jumaili / Vice Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Ms. Alaa Talabani / Member of the Foreign Relations Committee, Dr.. Jaber Habib Jaber / Member of the Foreign Relations Committee, Mustafa Mohamed Radi / employee of the Foreign Relations Committee). This delegation reviewed the ongoing performance of the embassy, and was later invited to attend a dinner banquet held in their honour. This dinner was attended by a group of Ambassadors accredited to Portugal, by some personalities of the Portuguese social life as well as members of the Iraqi community in Portugal
