Ambassador Dr. Sa’ad Al Ali attended on Saturday, 04/06/2011 the opening ceremony of the multiple festival of countries in which Turkmen live, which was held in the Dutch city of Den Bosch. The Iraqi Turkmen advisory body in the Netherlands in cooperation with the Turkish Blue Crescent Society participated, with a special wing in this festival, by introducing the culture of Turkmen in Iraq to the visitors of the festival. The opening was also attended by the Ambassadors of Turkey, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Afghanistan, and Mr Job Cohen, leader of the Labour Party in the Dutch parliament. The Ambassador delivered a speech to the Ambassadors of the participating countries, senior officials and businessmen in which he hailed the role of this important component in Iraqi society. The members of the advisory body for Iraqi Turkmen expressed their gratitude to the Ambassador for attending the festival.
