Fine Art Exhibition

Ambassador Dr. Sa’ad Al Ali opened on 19/5/2011 the exhibition of the fine artist Saadi Kassem al Saa’idi. The exhibition was organized in one of Amsterdam Galleries. The Ambassador expressed his admiration for the paintings which display the artistic creativity of the Iraqi artist and the civilization of Mesopotamia. A lecture about fine art in the Middle East was given on the sidelines of the exhibition. It was delivered by one of the Dutch specialists in this area and focused in particular on Iraqi fine art. The opening was attended by the Iraqi cultural attaché, Dr. Mufeed Nayef, and Mr Alaaddin Hussein Ghali, staff member of the Embassy.
