	Seminar on "The Next leadership" women's role in companies and institutions’ management "

On the 27th of March and as indicated by His Excellency the Ambassador Dr. Saywan Barzani, Mrs. Suzan Akrawi, attaché', attended a Seminar on "The Next Leadership "; Women's role in companies and institutions’ boards. An initiative by the American Studies Center in Rome, the U.S. Embassy in Rome and several Italian women's associations, including the Foundation Marisa Bellisario.
The seminar was divided into six lectures and important speeches. Mrs. Helen Fischer, President of Women Entrepreneurs in Science & Technology, opened the Seminar with a speech followed by the interventions of Parliament members: Ms. Lella Golfo, Alessia Mosca, Senator Maria Ida Germontani, the Director General at the Ministry of Labour, Ms. Daniela Carlà and the founder of the Italian feminist association Parimerito Ms. Paola Diana.
At the end of the interventions, discussion between the lecturers and the public took place, which was, like the lecture, focused on the problems women faced to prove themselves in both public or private sector due to men's cultural traditions which limited women's role and their right to achieve success at work and society.
