The Ambassador Dr. Saywan Barzani visited the Apostolic Nuncio, Monsignor Adriano Bernardini, the new Ambassador to Italy and San Marino on the occasion of assuming his new post succeeding Reverend Giuseppe Bertello who became the governor of Vatican City.
The two Ambassadors reviewed the current developments in the world and in the region.
The Ambassador, Dr. Saywan Barzani, reviewed the latest political and security developments in Iraq and the preparations to host the Arab Summit in Baghdad and discussed the relations between Iraq and the Vatican and ways to strengthen them.
